ACTRESS Helen Flanagan has reportedly quit Coronation Street for good.

The Bury-born actress, who now resides in Lancashire and was educated in Blackburn, had been on the soap as Rosie Webster since 2000 before leaving in 2012 to 'pursue other interests'.

She reprised the role in 2017, however, reports now suggest that she will never return to the cobbles, deciding to focus on her three children and other projects. She was last on Coronation Street in 2018.

A source told The Sun: "She wants to focus on her three children and has other career dreams, including acting roles.

"In the short term the break would be around two to three more years but there’s no saying she will come back even after that.

"Helen loves Coronation Street, her character and the family but it takes up a huge amount of her time and it’s become unfeasible."

Although the source claims that Helen will not feature on Corrie again, they did say that ITV are happy to leave the door ajar should she wish to return in the future.

Flanagan is married to footballer Scott Sinclair, who currently plays for Preston North End, and was voted Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM in 2013, pipping fellow soap star Michelle Keegan and Kelly Brook to the title.

She took part in the 2012 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, finishing seventh.
