A fire engine
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a van blaze on a driveway in Heywood last night.
A crew from Bury Fire Station was sent to Bury Old Road at around 9.40pm following a report of a Ford Transit van being on fire outside a home.
Two hose reels and one breathing apparatus were used to bring the extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire, which affected the front of the vehicle, has not been established and police were alerted to the incident.
No-one was injured.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
