SUPPORT has poured in from politicians for the campaign to re-open the 11.5 mile Colne to Skipton railway.
Skipton- East Lancashire Rail Action Partnership (SELRAP) has received letters of support from almost 90 MPs including former Liberal Democrat Party leader Charles Kennedy.
They have also received letters from a third of the UK's MEPs and more than 35 Lancashire and North Yorkshire county councillors.
Chris Huhne, Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary for the Environment has also aired his support.
