YOUNGSTERS from the Mill Hill and Whitebirk Youth Inclusion Programme, in Blackburn, are showcasing their craftsmanship by making Christmas decorations.

The hand-made decorations will be sold at a speciality Christmas market to be held in the town, with locally- sourced quality food on offer.

Extra gift and craft stalls will be on show, with seasonal fare and produce.

Youth Inclusion Programmes are designed specifically for young people, aged eight to 17 years, who are at high risk of offending, or anti-social behaviour.

The programmes give the young people somewhere safe to learn new skills, and the workers and volunteers provide positive role models in a bid to change their attitudes towards education and crime.

The speciality Christmas market will be held on Saturday, December 8 at Blackburn Market.
