TWO takeaways were targeted by thieves.
A burglar attempted to break in to the rear of Panda Express, Duckworth Street, Darwen, at 4.40pm on Sunday but was foiled.
The following day a burglar gained access via the rear of Yummy Yummy, Blackburn Road, Darwen.
The thief made off with £300 in cash and a quantity of jewellery.
Police believe the incidents may be connected.
