A NEW centre for Autistic Spectrum Disorders has been launched in Burnley.
The Mayor of Burnley, Coun Peter McCann opened the Queen Street venue where facilities include a bouncy castle, toddler area, resource area, meeting rooms and a library.
The Action for Autistic Spectrum Disorders group also has an impact team which deals with Aspergers Syndrome sufferers aged eight to 19 years, as well as an ethnic minority and family support sessions.
The support and action group was first set up in 1996
