A LANGHO primary school dedicated a week to re-creating the past, and celebrating the present.
St Leonard's Primary, Whalley Road, took part in a creative week looking at the history of the school from when it was first founded in 1873 to present day, looking at old photographs, log books and maps.
Year 3 pupils dressed as Victorian children and experienced lessons of that time.
Year 4 looked at the different working conditions of the era.
Meanwhile, Years 5 and 6 met a past pupil who was at the school in the 1950s to hear about life five decades ago.
Pupils from the school's journalist club became roving reporters for the week and conducted interviews and wrote articles too.
