Ski fanatics jump to it at outdoor adventure day

AN outdoor adventure day was held at Ski Rossendale, Rawtenstall, yesterday and attracted hundreds of people from across the North West.

Activities included skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and slalom competitions.

Top professional British skiers Pat Sharples and Warren Smith taught freestyle and advanced skiing lessons.

Off slope activities inclu-ded archery, a climbing wall and face painting.

There was also a barbecue, stalls dedicated to ski and snowboard equipment and outdoor pursuits.
