Staff have been left "shaken" after a robbery at a Bromley post office this morning (March 15).
Police were called shortly before 7am to the post office at the Londis in Plaistow Lane, near Sundridge Park station.
A spokesman from the Met Police said: "It was reported that two suspects wearing crash helmets entered the premises and stole cash and cigarettes.
"The suspects made off on the moped down Plaistow Lane.
"No arrests were made and enquiries continue.
"No-one was injured, and no weapons were used."
A staff member at the post office told News Shopper the person who was on duty at the time was "pretty shaken" after what happened and had to return home.
The Met's Flying Squad are leading the investigation.
