Rovers captain Charlie Mulgrew has been named in the Scotland squad for their upcoming friendlies with Costa Rica and Hungary.
Mulgrew has been called up by Alex McLeish ahead of his first matches in charge since replacing Gordon Strachan.
The defender will be looking to add to his 32 caps when they host Costa Rica on March 23 and then travel to Hungary on March 27.
Mulgrew has been in excellent form for Rovers this season, scoring 12 goals from central defence, and featured five times for his country this term, despite relegation to League One.
The 32-year-old's call-up follows those of fellow defenders Darragh Lenihan and Derrick Williams who have been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their game in Turkey.
That could lead to Rovers' trip to Doncaster Rovers on March 24 being postponed.
However, a concern for Rovers could be Mulgrew travelling to Hungary on March 27 and featuring for his country just 48 hours before Rovers' home match with Bradford.
Former Rovers players in the squad include Grant Hanley, now of Norwich, and Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney.
