SANDWICHES: Hope Centre project receives an unexpected donation from RCN staff
AN International Women's Day event which had to be cancelled at short notice due to a strike meaning staff at the Royal College of Nursing North West had sandwiches to spare.
The staff donated their sandwiches, drinks and snacks to The Hope Centre, Johnson Fold, which holds a community drop-in with lunch and hot drinks on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The Hope Centre also houses Urban Outreach's food bank store. Urban Outreach is always seeking volunteers to help at the centre or foodbank.
