BOLTON West MP Chris Green was one of the participants in the annual Lostock 6 Road Race at the weekend.

The Conservative representative started the race on Sunday, heading a record 342 runners along the course.

The route took entrants from the Barnstormers pub in Lostock Lane down Wingates Lane and up to the A6 before returning through Chew Moor and Lostock and heading along Chorley New Road.
