A WEATHER warning for snow has been issued by the Met Office.
A yellow warning for snow has been put in place for Tuesday and Wednesday for most of the country.
According to the Met Office snow showers and longer periods of snow are expected on Tuesday with heavier snow showers on Wednesday.
The warning for Greater Manchester is in place from Tuesday, 12.05am to Wednesday 11.55pm. On Thursday many other areas of the country are still expected to see snow.
The Met Office has warned there could be travel delays and that rural communities could be cut off.
