A ZACK Dale hat-trick inspired Barnoldswick Town to a superb 4-3 victory over high-flying Charnock Richard on Tuesday night.
Dale struck twice in the opening 20 minutes but the home side levelled things up beofre the break.
Dale and Mark Threlfall restored Barlick’s two goal cushion and the visitors hung on for the points despite a late goal for Charnock.
Danny Craig’s men went into the game having taken four points from their last two fixtures and were defeated 4-0 at home by Charnock Richard just last month.
But they turned the tables on a side who still harbour promotion ambitions with a fine display which moved them up to ninth in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division.
Barlick return to action at home to Congleton Town on Saturday (3pm).
