ELECTRICAL giants AO.com has beaten the rush to launch a fortnight of Black Friday deals.

Bargain hunters don't have to wait until the official Black Friday next week to bag a deal with the Horwich-based retailer announcing today it is slashing its prices across hundreds of appliances in the run up to November 24.

Savings include £500 on a coffee machine, £120 off a KitchenAid Artisan and £100 off a Kenwood MultiPro Sense.

Black Friday shopping craze originated from the United States and gives people the chance to buy discounted Christmas presents.

It is always the Friday following Thanksgiving Day and unofficially kicks off the Christmas shopping season — and in recent years it has boomed in the UK.

As well as the money saving deals, the retailer is also offering its customers a different discount code every day that can be redeemed on top of Black Friday sales.

On launching Black Friday, ao.com’s Retail Managing Director, David Lawson said: “November marks the start of the busiest time of year for all of us.

"We wanted to make Black Friday as easy as possible this year for our customers, which is why we decided to start our deals early.

"There are some great deals available across the site now, that would make perfect gifts for loved ones this Christmas including; a huge £500 off a Delonghi coffee machine, £120 off a KitchenAid stand mixer and £70 off an ASUS laptop. We’re hoping this will help customers to plan ahead for the festive period and also means that they don’t have to face the rush of Black Friday day itself.

"On top of the big savings live now on site, ao.com will also be releasing daily deals over the next two weeks giving people even more reason not to wait."
