DOZENS of residents are expected to turn out for a firework extravaganza to mark Bonfire Night.
Shoulder of Mutton pub in Ramsbottom urged revellers to ‘Remember remember, the fifth of November’ when they will host their bonfire and fireworks event.
The venue has promised ‘a fun evening of bonfire madness’ at their Lumb Carr Road site, from 6pm until 11pm, on Sunday, November 5.
More than 250 residents have been invited to attend the family event.
The free firework display will include a large bonfire as well as food and drinks.
A selection of hot drinks, black peas, potato hash and other snacks will be available for purchase.
Organisers also called for residents to bring any wood donations to keep the fire burning through the night.
They said via the event Facebook page: “Come and watch our amazing firework display and toast yourself around our bonfire.”
For more information about the bonfire event, please call the Shoulder of Mutton pub on 01706 822001.
