The second instalment of our humorous ‘Things We Spotted in Bolton’ feature is – perhaps – not one for royalists.
But even they would have to raise a smile at this.
The 'royal wee', complete with crown detailing, was spotted by the wife of one of our photographers in Bromley Cross recently.
She thought it’d give our readers a laugh, so sent it in to us.
It really is uncanny – capturing our monarch’s profile made world-famous by a billion or more stamps and coins.
Now we just need the pound coin obverse to complete the set. The royal coat of arms, Scottish thistle or Welsh 'leak' perhaps?
