TRAVELLERS have moved off fields near a Blackburn cemetery.

Six caravans and a motorhome were on the land near Pleasington cemetery yesterday.

But council bosses served them with a notice to leave the site.

A spokesman from Blackburn with Darwen Council said: “The travellers have now left the site as of 10:30 this morning."

Earlier in the day a drone enthusiast took to the skies and got footage of the traveller encampment in Blackburn.

Graham Woods from Darwen managed to get an aerial view of the site near the playing fields.

The video clearly shows six caravans and a motorhome on the site.

He said: "I was up there for about 40 minutes this morning and could not see any signs of them moving."
