A BOLTON dentistry team have become prize winners for helping people achieve award-winning smiles.
Dental practices around town have been putting on colourful displays to promote oral health.
The event was part of June's National Smile month campaign.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trusts Oral Health Improvement Team organised a competition between practices to promote healthy smiles to patients through the displays.
Sue Diggle, senior oral health improvement officer, said: "The competition was of a huge success and very difficult to judge, the criteria was focusing on the four main oral health messages which are intended to prevent dental disease."
Winners were the Bolton Orthodontic Practice in Manchester Road and Mr Slattery’s in Little Lever as runners-up.
There were also displays at local care homes, children's centres, schools and Bolton Market Place.
