IT was tears before bedtime for a wannabe model as her television show journey came to an end.
Kearsley hopeful Abby Heaton faced the chop for both her hair and chances on Britain’s Next Top Model (BNTM) on Thursday night.
The 20-year-old, who grew up on a farm, was the second girl eliminated from the Lifetime show.
Judge Abbey Clancy said: “You should be really proud of yourself, you did so well.”
It followed a dramatic makeover which saw the former Kearsley Academy and Pendleton College student have her long chestnut locks cut into a dark bob.
#BNTM this has to be one of my faves, a catwalk on a cruise! Wearing lovely #philliparmstrong dresses! @BNTMUK @LifetimeTelly pic.twitter.com/hzbolGtUBV

Speaking after her departure the waitress admitted her lack of confidence had let her down in the final photo shoot.
She said: “I just feel absolutely gutted and dead disappointed in myself because I know I can do so much better.
“I had a bad feeling all day that it was going to be me because I feel out of the photo, I looked the worst.
“I don’t want to give up so I’m going to keep trying to better myself and keep going.”
