FIRE crews were called to tackle an unattended blaze at a farm in Harwood.
Firefighters from Bolton Fire Station received reports of an unattended fire on farmland off Arthur Lane, at 12.15pm.
Crew manager Carl Gleaves said: “We arrived at the farm to find an unattended and uncontrolled fire on the land.
“It appeared the farmer had been burning raw materials but wasn’t in attendance when we arrived.
