A 23-YEAR-OLD man who kept just one appointment with the probation service after being made subject to a suspended prison sentence has been jailed.
Blackburn magistrates heard Joel Pattison attended an induction meeting but then totally ignored the order and had no contact with the probation service.

Pattison, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with requirements of a suspended prison sentence and was jailed for 12 weeks.
Paul Huxley, defending, said his client accepted he had gone 'off radar'.
"His partner gave birth to their first child and he was working," said Mr Huxley.
"He made the decision to keep on working so he could support his family. He knows he should have spoken to the probation service and explained the situation. Things could have been sorted out."
