A FLURRY of snow hit Bolton today - for all of five minutes.
The wintry weather arrived in Victoria Square on Tuesday morning, at about 10.45am.
But those hoping for an early dart from school or work were left disappointed as it disappeared as fast as it arrived.
Heavy rain is forecast for Bolton this afternoon, which is expected to clear during the evening to leave a mostly dry night with clear spells.
Another cold night is forecast with fairly light winds and a widespread frost with minimum temperatures of -1 °C.
