POWER has been restored to all but three of the houses in Darwen.
An Electricity North West spokeswoman said the incident was reported at 1.45pm and the majority of the houses had regained power by 2.15pm.
She said: “There were only three houses that were with-out electricity after 30 minutes and engineers were working hard to get them back up and running.
“The fault was not weather related.”
Earlier in the day, Electricity North West officials said 566 properties were affected by the high voltage fault.
