A BLACKBURN-based Muslim foundation has received an award for its humanitarian work.
The Al-Imdaad Foundation UK scooped the Charity Partnership Award at the Muslim Charity Forum’s Humanitarian Awards for its work with other agencies.
On the same day the South Africa Al-Imdaad Foundation received the PMR Africa Diamond Award in recognition of effectiveness, excellence, leadership, resilience and indicating customer service and customer satisfaction.
Abdussamad Mulla, country director, said: “Working together the limits are endless and I highly recommend that organisations come together and join hands in serving humanity.
“It is a pleasure to receive the Charity Partnership of the Year award and I would personally like to thank our team members, volunteers and management for their valuable efforts.”
