READERS have the opportunity to see their pictures featured regularly in The Bolton News, thanks to the launch of our new Camera Club.
The best snaps will go into an online vote to become image of the month, with the winner featured for the next 30 days on our new Camera Club facebook page facebook.com/BNCameraClub
The best pictures will also be considered for a 2018 Bolton News calendar.
The new Facebook page is a place where you can submit your photographs and contact our picture desk directly.
The submitted photos can be on any topic – from sport to shows, fun days, events and hard news stories such as police and fire incidents.
Bolton News chief photographer, Gus Sivyer, said: “We have so much going on in Bolton and we always enjoy sharing photos from events, big and small, with our readers.
“It’s not about how good your camera is, it’s about getting your pictures in print for all to see.
“This also another great way to build a published portfolio.
“We want to see pictures from everyone – whether you’re a seasoned amateur photographer or a budding enthusiast.”
