FIREFIGHTERS were called after a burst water pipe flooded a house.
Crews were called to the property off Cannon Street at 5am today.
A fire spokesman said: “An internal pipe upstairs burst.
"There was about a centimetre of water.
“We isolated the electrics and Bolton at Home were called to relocate the residents.
“The burst pipe caused extensive damage to the property.”
Crews were at the scene for just over an hour.
