IT’S been a busy year for the region’s real-life heroes as they have kept the people of Bolton safe.
Now the public can get an insight into the working lives of firefighters in a three minute video giving a snapshot of their year.
The clips features a tribute to fallen firefighter Stephen Hunt, from Radcliffe.
Father-of-two MR Hunt, aged 38, was found collapsed inside Paul's Hair World in Manchester's Northern Quarter whilst attempting to put out a fire in 2013.
It also features crews training, and some of the incidents they dealt with over the last 12 months.
Dog handler Mick Dewar, who lives in Bolton, makes an appearance.
And the new recruits to the service are also introduced.
Greater Manchester Fire Service tweeted: “Special treat for #TeamGMFRS and all our friends on NY's Eve Eve... our annual movie. We present - 2016! Enjoy”
