SCENE: The child was struck by a car at the junction of Tonge Moor Road and Starkie Road
POLICE were called after a child was hit by a car in this morning’s rush hour.
The accident happened on Tonge Moor Road, with the junction of Starkie Road, just after 8am.
It involved a Citroen C4 Picasso.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 8.02am after a collision between a Citroen C4 Picasso and a child.
"The child suffered minor injuries.”
