It is believed that locks on the container were broken to gain access.
The thieves then unloaded five pallets of toys with an approximate value of £5,000 which were earmarked for the Christmas range before leaving the premises.
The Range is a nationwide chain retailer which sells home, garden and leisure products, including furniture, kitchen equipment and toys. A police spokesman said anyone with information about the break-in should call them on 101.
