SWEDISH police officers visited Colne and Burnley to learn how the towns tackle anti-social behaviour.

In Burnley, the officers went on patrol with Neighbourhood Police Officers in Daneshouse, Stoneyholme, and Burnley Wood, and visited the borough's Multi-Agency Problem Solving Team.

They also heard about efforts to tackle community issues like anti-social behaviour.

Sergeant Martin Selway said: "Neighbourhood Policing is very much in its infancy in Sweden and the visit was designed to show the officers how things work in Burnley, where we have had dedicated Neighbourhood Police Officers for around six years."
