A MAN dragged his ex-partner down the street after she told him she was seeing another man.
Burnley magistrates heard Angela Khan was pulled 75 metres by Arthur Staveley, 64, who then dumped her outside her sister's house.
Miss Khan was left with ripped clothes and was unable to walk after her ordeal, because her cut feet became infected.
Staveley, of Gisburn Road, Barnoldswick, admitted assault on May 15 and was bailed for a pre-sentence report.
Trevor Grice, defending, said Staveley showed real remorse.
He added: "The defendant is not a man with a propensity for violence but clearly lost control."
