A TEENAGE driver escaped unharmed after her car veered off onto the embankment of the M65, police said.
The 19-year-old lost control of her Citroen C4 while travelling eastbound near junction seven, Accrington, after 6.30pm today, according to officers.
The teenager was able to get out of the car herself and the motorway police recovered the car.
Police believe the car left the motorway while the driver was trying an overtaking manoeuvre.
