A diesel spillage near the McDonalds on Trafalgar Street in Burnley caused traffic to be diverted on Friday afternoon.
The road, between the junction of Trafalgar Street and Manchester Road, was closed for a few hours whilst the council cleaned up the spillage.
The spillage came from a 7.5 tonne lorry at 1.50pm.
