TURTON pupils gave a first class performance in their exams.
Cameron Manning, aged 16, achieved a stunning set of 12 A*.
He said: “These grades mean I can do literally anything. I knew I would do well but it is pretty good.
“My passion is acting but I will go to university.”
Daniel Earnshaw, also 16, is on track to reach for the stars after achieving a set of results 3A*, 4As, 3B and a C.
He is going on to study A-level along with Cameron and hopes to become an aerospace engineer with a view to following his dream to become an astronaut. Daniel spent a week as Secondary Space School.
He said: “I am very pleased with my results.
“I have wanted to be an astronaut since I was young and Tim Peake has made it a bit more real to achieve.”
