A STOLEN battering ram used by police to smash in front doors during raids will be destroyed after a man was caught in possession of it.
Ryan Bramhall, of Sofa Street, Bolton, was found with the so-called 'enforcer' belonging to Greater Manchester Police on or before June 4.
The 24-year-old admitted handling stolen goods at Bolton Magistrates' Court.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and court costs of £150.
Magistrates ordered the tool to be forfeited and destroyed.
Three counts of assault by beating were dismissed.
