The One Show is set to tell the story of the last sports footwear factory in Bolton.
Norman Walsh, founder of Walsh footwear, began his career working at Fosters Footwear in Bolton.
In the show, which airs at 7pm tonight, the great-great-granddaughter of Fosters, which is today known as major sports brand Reebok, is interviewed.
This leads to a visit to Mr Walsh's own business.
Presenter Emma Dabiri visits the Walsh factory and meets with Jon Crompton, who discusses how Mr Walsh started the business in 1961.
The final part of the segment features running club Horwich RMI Harriers, where members wear Walsh footwear.
A special edition trainer was also made for The One Show.
