A FIRE crew from Bury were called out to a burning car at Walshaw Sports Club in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters attended the car park of the club in Sycamore Road, Tottington, at 5am to tackle the fire, which is believed to have been a deliberate attack.
The car, an Audi A4, is understood to have been stolen and was burnt out by the fire.
Crew Manager Cave Shimmons said: “It looked like the car had been stolen. Three doors were open and the keys were on the seat.
“The car was written off by the fire.”
The fire crew were on the scene for around 20 minutes and the police have been informed.
