CHILDREN and parents from across Bolton came together in support of brave Kyle Buckley who is fighting cancer.

A sponsored jump at AirVault Trampoline Park, in Westhoughton, was organised in support of the 11-year-old and more than £1000 was raised.

Kyle, from Deane, was first diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma —a rare muscle cancer—in 2014.

After years of gruelling treatment he suffered a relapse in December, 2015 and now faces a battle to find a cure through private treatment.

Event organiser Joanne Watson said: "We would like to extend a huge thank you to Air Vault who gladly donated their facilities and for the support they provided in both the run up to the event and the organisation on the night to help it be a huge success.’

Operations Director Mark Denison added: "When Joanne approached us with the suggestion of the sponsored jumpathon we were only too happy to help.

"We have recently worked with another local family fighting cancer, and it’s an area close to our hearts with family members of our team also going through brave battles with cancer.’

A gofundme page has been set up for Kyle to help to support his treatment.
