DETECTIVES continue to investigate a rape in Bolton.
Inquiries are ongoing but no arrests have been made over the serious sexual assault that happened in a wooded area close to Rock Terrace, Egerton.
The incident occurred on Sunday, June 5, and was reported to police the following day.
GMP has declined to release further details of the circumstances of the offence, but continues to appeal for witnesses.
The investigation is being led by a force-wide unit rather than Bolton-based detectives.
