SHOPPERS and staff were evacuated from The Mall Blackburn this morning after a fire alarm went off.
Loraine Jones, general manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The Mall Blackburn was safely evacuated at 9:30am today as part of our routine testing of fire drill procedures.

"The safety of our customers, retailers and staff is of paramount importance and all instructions were followed efficiently and correctly. The Mall reopened twenty minutes later."
