A woman was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital
A WOMAN had to be cut out of a car after a two-vehicle crash in Blackburn this afternoon.
The incident happened at the traffic lights in King Street at the junction of Montague Street at 2.45pm.

A woman was treated at the scene for neck and back injuries and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
A second person was treated at the scene for a head injury. Neither injury was believed to be life-threatening.
The road was blocked whilst paramedics and firefighters worked and an accident investigation was carried out.
