FINAL preparations are underway for Bolton's biggest rock festival begins — and we have the final details.
This weekend's Boltfest will welcome 10,000 people into Queens Park to rock it out over two days.
Tribute acts, up and coming local bands and musicians, will be entertaining the crowds across two stages — the Main Stage and the Blind Tiger Stage — from noon until late.
The festival, which was a huge success last year, has again hit all the right notes and all 10,000 free tickets have been snapped up.
Organiser Jools Taylor said: "Preparations are going really well, we are just doing the final bits.
"We are all really excited — I have a good feeling about it.
"All the tickets have gone now, which is brilliant and it looks like the gods have blessed us with the weather, so it will be great."
The Bolton News, which is supporting this year's festival, has been announcing details of the up and coming event over the past few months, including the line-up of tributes to bands such as Foo Fighters, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Led Zeppelin.
Most recently we announced the list of local bands who will be performing such as, The Jade Assembly, Pearl Scam and Twisted Illusion and now it's time to reveal the final preparations and stage times ready for tomorrow's event.
Gates will open at 11am.
