FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a homeless man became trapped in a carpark in Burnley.
It is believed the gates to the carpark in Craven Street may have been locked whilst he was sleeping and when he awoke he was unable to escape.
One appliance from Burnley Station attended and firefighters removed some nails from a fence to free him, before making the site secure again.
The man was taken to hospital with possible pneumonia.
The incident happened at around 8.15pm yesterday and firefighters were at the scene for around 30 minutes.
