Fire crews were called to Boonfields, Bromley Cross
A HOUSE in Bromley Cross was evacuated this morning after the residents discovered a fire in the ceiling.
Fire crews from Bolton North were called to the home in Boonfields at 8am after electrical wiring on an emersion heater caused a small fire.
The residents were advised to leave the property while the crew tackled the fire located between the first floor and ceiling.
The fire caused minimal damage.
