Emergency services attended a fire in Cheriton Drive, Bolton
A FIRE was started at the site of a house renovation in Bolton this afternoon after a pile of rubbish was set alight.
Crews were called to Chirton Drive at 5.10pm today to tackle to blaze in the back garden of a property being converted from offices into houses.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and had been burning for a few hours before the alarm was raised.
No damaged was caused to the building and the fire service is attempting to contact the owner of the property.
