A CCTV image has been released of a gun-toting man who threatened staff during a robbery at a Heywood newsagents.
At 2.55pm on Sunday, October 18, a man wearing a white dust suit, baseball cap and blue gloves walked into the newsagents in Bamford Road.
He was holding a gun and threatened staff behind the counter, demanding money.
He took the cash and left in the direction of Heywood Hall Road.
No one was injured.
Detective Constable Nick Price said: “The dust suit was quite distinctive and had a blue triangle on the back.
"It is possible the offender got into a vehicle following the incident and I would ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened to call us.
“I would also urge the public to take a good look at the image we have released and if they recognise the person in it, to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 0161 856 8579 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
