A DRIVER was taken to hospital after a car crash near a Doffcocker church.
The collision happened at 9.35pm on Thursday in Chorley Old Road close to The Triangle Methodist Church in New Church Road.
Paramedics treated a man for head and neck injuries and he was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital.
A second patient had suffered minor injuries but was not transported to hospital.
Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called at 9.32 to a road traffic collision between two cars at the junction of Chorley Old Road and New Church Road.
"The junction was blocked. Both drivers received minor injuries."
