A 10-YEAR-OLD boy from Bury put on a "volley good show" to become an official Guinness World Record holder.

Freddie Hughes was among members of the public who visited Manchester's National Football Museum when it was hosting the Football Flick world record attempt.

Those who took part in the challenge had the opportunity to hit as many half volleys as possible in 30 seconds using the "Football Flick", a special unit used to practise freestyle skills. At the end of the day, it was Freddie with the highest score of 34 flicks who officially became a Guinness World Record holder.

Multiple world record holder and professional football freestyler John Farnworth also set a new world record for volleys in a separate category.
