A PERVERT indecently exposed himself in a McDonald’s branch.
Blackburn magistrates heard John Worboys had 33 previous convictions for sex offences.
He had gone to a sports shop and bought a pair of short shorts before flashing at two fifteen-year-old girls.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Worboys was subject to a sexual offences prevention order that prohibited him from wearing “shorts, skirt or any other garment that exposed flesh below the waist and above the knee”.
“This was a deliberate and planned act,” said Miss Allan. “In McDonald’s, he sat opposite two 15-year-old girls and exposed himself. When adults walked past, he closed his legs.”
Miss Allan said one of the girls took a photograph on her phone, from which Worboys was identified.
Worboys, 59, of Old Hall Street, Burnley, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and breach of a sex offender order. He was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court to be sentenced.
